WP Campbell Award

Antony wins WP Campbell Award at BIBA Scotland 2018

Following the successful completion of his ACII in January 2017, Antony Murray had the honour of being presented the British Insurance Brokers Association's (BIBA), WP Campbell Award. The award was presented to him for being the highest achiever of those attaining the ACII qualification in 2017. Steve White, Chief Executive of BIBA, presented the award to Antony at BIBA Scotland 2018 along with a cheque for £200.

Following the award, Antony commented:

“It was a great surprise and honour to get the award. Qualifying for my ACII has always been about developing my skills and experience to deliver the best service to our customers. It was a big commitment over many years and to get the added recognition of the W P Campbell Award makes it all the more worthwhile.

He also wanted to thank those who supported him in his studies:

"A special thanks to Allianz insurance for accepting me on to their Scholarship Programme and added support from Duncan Clark and Gillian Brennan, and to Tony O’Brien at QBE who were a great help.

Furthermore he commented: 

"BIBA do a great job of promoting the professional work brokers do and also in supporting its members through regular webinars and publications. Whilst the qualification and award are great milestones, I’m committed to further professional development with help from the CII, BIBA and our insurer partners."
